Manchester United are all ready in America, preparing themselves for their first match of the Premier League Summer Series this pre-season.
The Red Devils have set up a base camp at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Chicago for the tour, as a central point to travel to New Jersey and Atlanta from.
Their opening game comes this Saturday, 26th July, as Ruben Amorim’s men take on West Ham United.
The Hammers are on their way to the States this afternoon, heading straight to New Jersey ready for their first fixture, before taking on Everton in Chicago on Wednesday 30th July as United take on Bournemouth, then heading on to Atlanta as they take on Bournemouth and United face Everton.
Now, it’s expected that West Ham’s new signing, Kyle Walker-Peters will be making his debut, as highlighted on The Hammer’s official site.
The club announced Walker-Peters and fellow new signing El Hadji Malick Diouf as a part of the club’ travelling squad, with Diouf having already featured against Grasshopper Club Zurich in a 3-1 win as he came on for the second half.
As such, Kyle Walker-Peters could well be set for a run-out this time around after being confirmed as a Hammer on Sunday, a day after West Ham’s fixture with the Swiss side.
The right-back arrives at West Ham from Southampton after The Saints’ recent relegation to the Championship.
Three players that Amorim won’t have to prepare his men to face however are Crysencio Summerville, George Earthy and Krisztián Hegyi who have failed to make the trip due to injury, remaining at Rush Green to recover.
Following a 0-0 draw with Leeds United this weekend, Manchester United will be hoping to get a good result against The Hammers to start of their Premier League Summer Series on the front foot.
