However, his best moments have come when playing behind a true No.9 rather than leading the line himself.
With United in desperate need of a proven goalscorer, Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old remains one of Europe’s top strikers.
He has recorded 20 goals and five assists in 26 appearances for Turkish giants Galatasaray this season.
Victor Osimhen responds to transfer links
Osimhen, currently on loan from Napoli, has responded to speculation linking him with Manchester United, PSG, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
Speaking to Buchi Laba, he made it clear that he is enjoying his time in Turkey.
“To be honest, I don’t know,” Osimhen admitted.
“The last few months, nobody ever thought I would come here.
“I never believed I would come to Galatasaray despite how big they are.
“I live for the moment.
“The future? I don’t know what will happen in the summer, but I want everybody to understand that I really love this club.
“I love the fans, I love the President, I love everyone associated with the club.
“It’s really a big deal to be here, and I’m really enjoying my time.”

Osimhen is currently recovering from an injury picked up against Fenerbahce.
He will be hoping to return for Galatasaray’s Turkish Cup clash against Konyaspor on Thursday.
While United signing a top-class striker would certainly help, it wouldn’t solve their deeper issues.
The team’s lack of creativity and poor chance creation rate means the problem extends beyond just needing a prolific goalscorer.
