As Manchester United are aiming to bolster their squad for the 2025/26 season, they are set to make some huge changes.

The signings of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo will for sure help bolster their attack.

Senne Lammens seems to be edging closer to a move to the Red Devils with Ollie Watkins also seen as a top target.

However, rivals have also been working hard in the transfer market, both on and off the field.

Tottenham Hotspur defeated Ruben Amorim’s side in May in the UEFA Europa League 1-0 thanks to a Luke Shaw own goal.

This win has helped newly appointed Thomas Frank’s side financially, with the club already having signed Mohammed Kudus.

The North London side have also seemingly beat competitors to Nottingham Forest’s star man Morgan Gibbs-White.

Spurs are also looking to bolster their teams on and off the field for both the men’s and women’s teams.

And now they are set to take one of Manchester United’s analysts in order to do this.

As per the Athletic, Manchester United Women’s analyst Lawrence Shamieh is set to join Tottenham Hotspur in a reunion with new head coach Martin Ho.

After serving as Tottenham’s chief performance analyst for the women’s squad from 2021 to 2022, Shamieh joined United in October 2022.

Both the players and the coaching staff at United hold Shamieh in the highest regard, with many seeing him as one of the most crucial members of Marc Skinner’s coaching staff in terms of tactical analysis and scouting.

This will be seen as a huge loss to the Red Devils women’s team with North London taking an important member of their background staff.
