Andre Onana continues to face growing criticism for his inconsistent performances and controversial comments.
Brought in to replace long-serving shot-stopper David de Gea, Onana was expected to usher in a new era between the posts at Old Trafford under Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman now replaced by Ruben Amorim – however Onana has instead become a liability in key moments across both the Premier League and Europa League.

While United remain in the hunt for Europa League glory, Onana’s mistakes have been a recurring theme.
Most notably, in a dramatic quarter-final tie against Lyon that saw United scrape through 7-6 on aggregate.
The Cameroonian was at fault for both goals conceded in the first leg.
The game also brought unwanted headlines after Onana’s pre-match jibe that his team was “way better” than their opponents.
Which then led to a public spat with former United midfielder Nemanja Matic.
Onana celebrated provocatively in front of Lyon fans in the second leg.
However, Onana was dropped by Amorim for the following league game against Newcastle in favour of Altay Bayindir.
Now, United legend Teddy Sheringham has added his voice to the growing chorus of critics.
Teddy Sheringham urges Andre Onana to let performances do the talking
“With Andre Onana, I’m all for the passion,” Sheringham told CasinoHawks as per The Sun.
“But it’s not about what’s happened in the past, and it’s not about saying what you’re going to do.
“It’s all about results and performances on the pitch.
“You need to shut up at times and just button your lip and just hold your tongue if you can.
“But I fully understand the pressure these people are under,” he added.

The criticism has only intensified since.
In United’s recent 1-1 draw with Bournemouth, Onana was culpable again.
His poor pass into Luke Shaw allowed the Cherries to open the scoring through Antoine Semenyo.
With Amorim reportedly targeting a new goalkeeper ahead of next season, Onana’s future at Old Trafford is in serious doubt.
One potential replacement being monitored is 22-year-old Senne Lammens of Royal Antwerp.
Onana, once viewed as a key piece in United’s rebuild, may now be heading for the exit door this summer.
