Today, Ruben Amorim and Manchester United faced Fulham at Craven Cottage.
In an entertaining 1-1 draw, Leny Yoro was heavily involved in United taking the lead in the 58th minute.
Following a corner, that came in from Bryan Mbeumo, Yoro jumped for the ball.
The ball then deflected in off Rodrigo Muniz into the net ending in an own goal.
However, the Red Devils were unable to hold their lead with Emile Smith-Rowe was equalising for the London outfit in the 73rd minute.
But, before these events, Bruno Fernandes had a chance to put United ahead.
However, he skied his penalty over the bar in the 38th minute.
Following the game, the United captain opened up about the incident.
Now, Ruben Amorim has commented on the new competition that Fernandes will face in the coming games.
Commenting after the game, the Manchester United boss has said that Kobbie Mainoo is fighting with Bruno Fernandes for a role in the Red Devils midfield.

With this news revealed, we could see a battle continue between the two players for a starting role.
If Mainoo wins the battle for the starting role, we may see a new captain for the games where Kobbie Mainoo starts.
Ruben Amorim could turn to a number of experienced players to fill this role including Harry Maguire.
But, if Bruno Fernandes wins this battle, we may see the Portuguese international continue in a similar role to what he currently does.
The saying of this by Amorim shows us that no-one’s place in the starting 11 is safe, even the captain’s position.
But, only time will tell and the next couple of games and weeks will be crucial in telling us who is coming out on top of the battle.
