Spanish outlet AS, as reported by The Express, has confirmed that one of Real Sociedad’s key men, Luka Sucic is set to miss both legs of the next round in Europa League.

The midfielder has been a key man for Real Sociedad since joining in the summer from Austrian side RB Salzburg for £8.2 million.

So far this season, the 22-year-old has made 27 appearances with three goals and two assists to his name.

However, AS has now revealed that Sucic is set for a few weeks on the side-line after sustaining a knee injury.

Whilst Sociedad still managed to achieve a 3-0 win against CD Leganes without the Croatian international, his absence will no doubt be a blow to the Spanish side.

This gives a bit of a boost to Ruben Amorim who is experiencing an injury crisis of his own with players like Amad Diallo and Lisandro Martinez ruled out for the rest of the season.
