Manchester United have been busy securing key signings this summer, with Benjamin Sesko now set to arrive in a huge £75m deal from RB Leipzig.
The Slovenian’s addition will bolster Ruben Amorim’s frontline, with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo already through the door.
But while incomings have dominated headlines, United are now shifting focus to player sales.
Several senior names remain on the chopping block, with Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony all being lined up for possible exits.
Garnacho remains heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, with the Argentine fully set on joining the Blues.
One other name increasingly linked with a move away this summer is Rasmus Hojlund, who United signed just two years ago in a high-profile £72m transfer from Atalanta.
According to Ben Jacobs for TalkSport, the Red Devils have raised their asking price to £40million for the Denmark international as they look to offload him before the transfer window closes.
The fee is £10m higher than what was widely known weeks ago (£30m), and just shy of the striker’s current book value of £43m.
Hojlund has scored 26 goals in 95 appearances for United but endured a tough second season, scoring just four times in 32 Premier League matches.
Despite netting in a 4-1 pre-season win over Bournemouth and stating “I want to stay and fight for my spot,” United are open to offers.
Leipzig raised the possibility of a separate deal during the Sesko talks, but Hojlund wasn’t keen.
Milan, Napoli and clubs in Saudi Arabia have also shown interest.
It is believed Hojlund would prefer a return to Serie A or to remain in the Premier League.
Amorim himself added: “I’m really happy with Rasmus, but I don’t know what is going to happen until the end of the market.”
