Manchester United’s summer signing Noussair Mazraoui has established his place in the United squad since arriving in August from Bayern Munich.
The right-back arrived alongside fellow team Matthijs de Ligt with United signing the pair for a combined £50 million, with both men slotting straight into the starting eleven.
Since then, Mazraoui has made 40 appearances, contributing with two assists across all competitions.
However, despite his versatility, being used across the left and right wing-back roles, centre back and a one-off attacking midfield appearance, the 27-year-old hasn’t been able to turn the tides of United’s results.
The Morocco international was apart of United’s most recent defeat at the hands of Fulham in the FA Cup, with the game going to penalties.
During the second half, the game paused according to FA rules to allow for Mazraoui and Fulham winger Adama Traore to take part in breaking their fast that is currently being practiced throughout Ramadan for the pair who are devout Muslims.
Daytime fasting, as practiced throughout Ramadan began on 28th February, running through to 30th March, with the games taking place during this time set to accommodate the faith’s practice.
Now, The Daily Mail has reported of heart-warming moment between Mazraoui and a journalist after the game, with the pair connecting over their faith.

Noussair Mazraoui meets with journalist following Fulham clash
The report explained that journalist Aadam Haladh waited after the game to meet Mazraoui and gift him a tin of Medjoul dates as a part of Ramadan.
The United security dates allowed Haladh to wait for the right-back at the players’ entrance to ensure he met the 27-year-old.
Speaking about the moment, Haladh explained: “The United security staff outside the players’ entrance were kind enough to allow me to wait in front of the barriers after showing them my pass.”
He continued: “Mazraoui and I exchanged greetings in Arabic, wishing each other peace and blessings and Ramadan Mubarak.
“I gave him the tin of dates telling him it was a gift from me, which he accepted and politely responded by saying ‘for you, my shirt’, giving me both of his match worn shirts.”
The moment no doubt gave Mazraoui a positive end to an otherwise frustrating fixture, now turning his attention to the Europa League clash with Real Sociedad.
