Manchester United have released their lineup as they prepare to take on West Ham United in the Premier League Summer Series.

Ruben Amorim will be hoping to use pre-season to install his philosophy and tactical identity into the players ahead of what promises to be a crucial campaign for the club.

After finishing 15th in the Premier League last season, United will be under immediate pressure to deliver improved results and show progress from the very start of the new season.

The club confirmed the match-day squad for the clash against the Hammers via their official website earlier.

New signing Matheus Cunha is included in the starting eleven and will be looking to make an instant impact.

However, fellow new arrival Bryan Mbeumo has been left out of the squad for this fixture.

According to the club, Mbeumo is not yet fully up to speed physically, and manager Ruben Amorim has made the decision not to rush the Cameroonian attacker into action.

He is expected to continue training with the group and build fitness before making his debut later in the Summer Series.

Additionally, Noussair Mazraoui has not been included in the squad.

Simon Stone has reported on X that Mazraoui picked up a knock shortly before the game, which has ruled him out of the matchday squad for precautionary reasons.

However, the injury has been described as “small,” and there will be hope within the club that the full back can return to first-team action as soon as possible.

United will be eager to have him back in training quickly to ensure he gets maximum preparation time ahead of the new Premier League season and builds sharpness during the remainder of pre-season.
