There’s nothing like live television.
As the saying goes, anything can happen when you’re live.
And it seems as if MUTV may have made a bit of a blunder today.
Broadcasting before Manchester United’s 2-0 pre-season friendly win over Rangers, a presenter on the channel was talking to fans before the game.
Spotting an unfamiliar shirt, the presenter goes over to have a conversation with the fan.
During that conversation, it seems as if someone from the production team tells the presenter something. And it may have been related to what the fan was wearing.
You see, the fan in question was wearing what looked like an unreleased MUFC kit.
A few days ago, we shared leaked images of what the new 2024-25 third kit for the club will look like.
Despite it not being available, the fan was seen wearing an almost identical kit.
Hurriedly moving on, the MUTV presenter seems as if she’s been told that and asked to move onto someone else.
In any case, by that point the damage was done and videos of the interaction were being shared on social media.
As the kit has not officially been released, it’s clearly an unofficial imitation of the kit.
But at least we’ve seen it now and fans can see if it’s something that would look good on themselves.
