Marcus Rashford is a player United have been looking to move on after he returned from his loan at Aston Villa.
Yesterday, it was reported that United and Barcelona have come to an agreement of a loan deal with an option to buy for Rashford
Although United would have preferred a permanent deal for the forward, Barcelona have offered to cover Rashford’s entire salary during the loan deal, giving United the financial motivation to accept the offer, saving £17 million on his wages.

Barcelona and United have just been agreeing the final details with the deal, looking to agree a penalty clause if the buy option is not triggered after the loan deal.
However, Fabrizio Romano has now revealed, via X, that all documents have now been signed between the two clubs.
Rashford will be taking a 15% pay cut whilst at Barcelona, with his new salary being €14 million gross.
On top of this there will also be a bonus linked to how many appearances Rashford makes during his loan.
Both sides will be happy with a quick resolution to this deal, as Rashford now travels to Spain to complete his move.
