Manchester United wantaway Marcus Rashford has now seemingly decided on his future, past his loan spell with Aston Villa.
The United academy graduate has struggled over the last few years to repeat his career best of 30 goals in a season since the 2022/23 campaign under Erik ten Hag.
However, this season his stock within United hit an all time low, with the club keen to sell him in this year’s winter transfer window.
The attacker was failing to deliver on the pitch, with his attitude in training failing to impress new manager Ruben Amorim.
United believed that his personal life led him to lack focus on his football, having been worded and fined on several occasions for being caught on rowdy nights out hours before a game.
With Rashford on £325,000 per week, his salary took up a hefty proportion of The Red Devils’ wage budget, another reason behind the club looking to offload him.
However, these financial pressures saw multiple clubs back out of a deal in January, including Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Barcelona and Juventus.
Ultimately, Rashford has ended up at Villa Park on loan till the end of the season, with Aston Villa holding the option to buy the star for £40 million in the summer.
Now, the 27-year-old has seemingly made his mind up on his future, past the end of this season.

Marcus Rashford wants to stay with Aston Villa
The Sun has now reported that Rashford has made the decision that he’d like his move to Villa Park to be made permanent at the end of the season.
The reports explains that Rashford has commented to his friends that he’s feeling more revitalised with Villa, describing the recent months at Manchester United as draining in comparison.
The England international also reportedly feels that Unai Emery is the right manager to help him kickstart his career again, to recover his spot in the England squad, having missed out on a call up to Euro 2024.
Now with Thomas Tuchel in charge of The Three Lions, Rashford is hoping a move to Villa permanently could see him called up for the 2026 World Cup.
