Marcus Rashford is on the brink of leaving United as his future now lies away from Old Trafford.
This last month has been a rollercoaster for the England international, with his 19 years spent at United set to end this month.
Rashford has been under scrutiny for some time due to his off-field exploits, however, the odds have now stacked up against the 27-year-old.
Ultimately these off-pitch factors have raised concerns for United that the attacker isn’t as focused on his football as he once was.
This coupled with the financial hardships that the club are facing with Rashford’s £325,000 per week wage making him one of the club’s highest earners has seen the star be put up for sale.
Rashford himself confirmed his exit was imminent, claiming he was ready for a new challenge, which now looks set to take him to Italy.

AC Milan meet with representatives of Marcus Rashford
The Athletic has reported that Rashford’s representatives have now landed in Italy, ready to hold talks with AC Milan.
The Serie A side appears to be the front-runner to land the striker, with Borussia Dortmund and Juventus also keeping an eye on the star.
However, Gianluca di Marzio hasn’t provided an update that Milan has submitted a “concrete proposal” for the England star.
The offer is for an initial loan move this month with an option to buy.
Whilst it’s unknown how much the buy option would be for, it’s been reported that United are looking for between £40 – £50 million for their wantaway star.
The sale of Rashford would go a long way to supporting The Red Devils’ financial struggles, with Rashford being a product of the club’s academy.
As such the 27-year-old constitutes pure profit under Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
No doubt more information will be revealed over the next few days, however for now Rashford has taken a step closer to finding his new club.
