The Manchester United squad have all now returned to Carrington for pre-season training as the club are less than a week away from their first pre-season friendly against Leeds United.
Following that, The Red Devils are headed to the USA for the Premier League Summer Series, where they’ll play against West Ham United in New Jersey, Bournemouth in Chicago and Everton in Atlanta.
As such, Ruben Amorim is keen to make every second of the pre-season count, having already given his squad and academy stars personalised conditioning plans for the off-season to come back into training in better shape.

However, some of the United squad, like Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, have been left out of these plans, following a breakdown in relationship between the pair and Ruben Amorim.
As such, the pair, as well as Jadon Sancho and Antony, have been given extended leave to prioritise sorting out a summer transfer to leave Old Trafford.
It’s understood that whilst some have chosen to take advantage of the extended leave, Marcus Rashford returned to Carrington on the first day of the pre-season to make the most of the facilities still at his disposal as a United player.
Whilst Rashford hasn’t been involved in the team training, the England international has been doing individual sessions to keep himself in shape, ready for a potential move to join Barcelona at Camp Nou.

Now, Manchester Evening News has reported that Alejandro Garnacho has joined his fellow departing teammate, with the pair training on the grass at Carrington on Thursday, after the rest of the senior squad had departed.
Whilst the pair did ball-work on the training pitch, the report explains the facility was empty except for United’s Under-10s.
Whilst a LaLiga move looks most likely for Rashford, it’s understood that Garnacho’s determined to remain in the Premier League for next season, with Club World Cup winners Chelsea having monitored the winger over recent months.
