One of the routes to making a name for yourself is today’s game is by going on loan and playing senior football.
Man Utd currently have 17 players out on loan right now and one of those players has just scored his first ever senior professional goal.

Ethan Williams joined Cheltenham Town in the January transfer window and has already started to make his presence felt at the League Two side.
In his previous game for The Robins, the young winger grabbed an assist as his side beat Barrow Town 3-2.
And he’s gone one better now.
Visiting Newport County, Cheltenham Town ran out 3-0 winners with Williams getting the second goal of the game.
This had followed what was an assist for the opening goal of the game also – so it was double delight for the young winger.
Players tend to remember their first goals, but this one was just a bit more special.
After the Newport goalkeeper came rushing out of his box to clear the ball, Williams latched onto the ball and lobbed it into the net.
Not a bad way to mark your first goal in senior football.

It’s quite clear that young Ethan Williams is having quite the impact at Cheltenham Town.
If he keeps putting in performances like this, it’s surely only a matter of time before he gets a chance to play at a higher level in English football.
