Manchester United are currently looking to extend the contracts of another two stars following the news of Kobbie Mainoo being on the verge of a new deal.
Mainoo is close to signing a new contract which will see him rewarded with a deserved raise after establishing himself as one of the key members of the United starting line-up.

The centre-midfielder already has a long-term contract signed, seeing him stay at Old Trafford until 2027, however, Dan Ashworth is keen to reward him and retain him as part of United’s future plans.
Now, United are looking at extending the contracts of two other stars, both of which appear to be for very differing reasons.
United extend contracts of Amad Diallo and Harry Maguire
Reports from Rich Fay at Manchester World have claimed that United are now looking to trigger one-year extensions in the contracts of Amad Diallo and Harry Maguire.
Since the pre-season, Amad has been finding his form on the pitch, with Erik ten Hag using him more frequently now, grabbing a goal and assist in six Premier League appearances.
It looks as though, much like Mainoo, Amad is being extended by a further year as part of the long-term plans with the club, protecting against clubs signing him for free when his contract was due to end next year.
However, in the case of Harry Maguire, the extension also appears to be to stop other clubs from negotiating a free transfer in January, but to cash in on a sale for the star instead.
It’s been reported that United are open to deals in and around the £10 million mark, a dramatic fall from the £80 million they paid for him. However, extending his contract means they have a bit more room to negotiate a transfer fee.
With Maguire also out injured, the extension will give him more game time to try and impress potential suitors.
