That player is Joao Gomes, who has been looking pretty faultless for Wolves this season.
Despite ongoing struggles with the recent sacking of Gary O’Neil, Gomes has still been producing stellar displays.
The Brazilian has started 19 out of 20 available Premier League games this season, so far.
United and Liverpool have been monitoring Gomes this season.
According to former United and Blackburn scout Mick Brown, both clubs have sent scouts to watch the Brazilian.
Speaking to Football Insider, Brown revealed that Gomes has caught the attention of Europe’s elite.
“United and Liverpool have been keeping tabs,” said Brown.
“But it will take a big offer because Wolves don’t want to let him go now.”

His performances have earned him nine caps for Brazil and interest from top clubs.
Despite this, Wolves are unwilling to lose key players midway through their relegation battle.
Any potential move for Gomes is more likely to happen in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old joined Wolves from Flamengo in 2023 and is under contract until 2028.
Wolves’ financial issues could, however, tempt clubs to explore a deal earlier.
Both clubs are expected to continue scouting Gomes for the rest of the season.
