Manchester United’s preparations for the 2025/26 campaign have gone beyond the training pitch, with off-field developments catching the eye of fans worldwide.
Ruben Amorim’s squad have been stepping up their pre-season schedule, blending intense sessions at Carrington with fine-tuning ahead of the opening Premier League fixtures.
The club has also been engaging supporters globally through new signings, interactive fan events, and high-profile marketing campaigns that celebrate both its history and ambitions.
This summer has seen a conscious effort from United to reconnect with its roots while presenting a forward-looking image in all aspects, from football to fashion.
That ambition has just taken centre stage as Manchester United officially unveiled, via the clubs website, their new adidas third kit for the 2025/26 season, showcasing a striking design inspired by the nostalgia of the 1990s.
The new strip combines a bold black base with yellow-and-blue detailing, reimagining the legendary away kit worn between 1993 and 1995, a period that included the club’s first-ever Double in 1993/94.
For the second season in a row, adidas’ iconic Trefoil logo features on the third shirt, reinforcing a tribute to both timeless style and football heritage.
The design pays close attention to detail, boasting engineered devil-base fabric, authentic three-stripe tape, and a flat-knit crew collar and cuffs, while the yellow-and-blue accents provide a fresh twist on a classic silhouette.
The shirt’s black engineered base is subtly patterned with the club devil motif woven directly into the fabric, while a modern black-and-yellow shield crest celebrates the club’s DNA.
The fabled adidas three stripes run in bold yellow across the shoulders, complemented by the Trefoil logo in the same colour on the chest.
Inside the authentic jersey sits a unique sign-off: the yellow devil’s trident set against a black-and-grey background, a subtle yet powerful nod to the pride and fearlessness ingrained in United’s identity.
On the pitch, the lightweight authentic version incorporates adidas’ latest performance technology, designed to optimise airflow and keep players cool under pressure.
The fan version offers the same stylish aesthetic with sweat-wicking, absorbent materials, ensuring comfort whether in the stands or on the streets.
This latest release seamlessly blends heritage with modern design, marking another bold statement in United’s connection between football, fashion, and identity.
