Manchester United have just been knocked out of the Premier League cup despite an impressive run this season.
The Under-18s side were on a truly impressive undefeated run this season, wracking up a run of 13 wins as the club have scored 57 goals and conceded only 6 prior to the weekend.
Both James Scanlon and Gabriele Biancheri have hit double figures, scoring 10 and 11 goals respectively, whilst new signing Chido Obi-Martin is catching up with nine goals in eight games.
However, the sides unbeaten run has unfortunately come to an end, at the hands of Manchester City no less.
The younger faction of The Red Devils were unfortunately beaten 4-0 on Saturday 1st February, with another loss coming quickly in toe.

West Ham United knock out Manchester United Under-18s
Manchester United’s Under-18s have now been knocked out of the PL Cup by West Ham United.
Academy Arena reported that the Hammers bested the youngsters in a round of penalties which went to sudden death.
However, the United youth team are still in the running for FA Youth Cup, set to face Chelsea in the fifth round on Wednesday 12th February.
After beating Coventry 5-2 and Preston 5-2, United will certainly have a stronger challenge in against Chelsea, however, Adam Lawrence will be hoping his side can get back to their winning ways.
