Manchester United’s youth pipeline continues to grow in importance as the club enters the most crucial stretch of the season.
With the Europa League final fast approaching and the final two games of the league campaign on the horizon, attention has turned to the academy stars being drafted into the senior fold.
Injuries across United’s backline have created a significant headache for Ruben Amorim, who is also juggling squad registration limitations ahead of the clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Several talented youngsters are now pushing for involvement in the remaining fixtures against Chelsea and Aston Villa – and possibly even a place in the Europa League final squad.
Amid all this, Manchester United have formally promoted academy duo Tyler Fredricson and Chido Obi to the first team, as per the MEN.
Fredricson, a 20-year-old defender, made his debut in the recent 1-0 defeat at Wolves, while 17-year-old Obi featured against Spurs in February and made his full debut in the 4-3 loss to Brentford earlier this month.
Both were named on the bench in the 2-0 defeat to West Ham and are expected to be involved in upcoming Premier League matches.
However, Chido Obi is unavailable for the Europa League final due to not being registered for the knockout stages.
The Denmark Under-21 international joined from Arsenal last summer and has been tipped for a bright future.

Fredricson has been added to the club’s Europa League B list and could be drafted into the final squad, especially with United’s defensive department severely depleted.
Lisandro Martínez is sidelined until next season with an ACL tear, Matthijs de Ligt and Ayden Heaven remain unavailable, and Leny Yoro limped off against West Ham with a foot injury.
Amorim gave a cautious update on Yoro, saying: “He felt something but I think it could be a small thing.”
Fredricson, a Mancunian academy graduate, had previously featured on the bench in 2022 against Real Sociedad before finally getting his break this season.
He joins the growing list of promoted academy talents alongside Harry Amass, Toby Collyer and Ethan Wheatley, who have also been officially included in the senior squad.
