Is Jadon Sancho going to remain a Manchester United player beyond today?

That’s the question on many MUFC fans’ lips.

It seems that his future is set to be away from the club.

Despite being welcomed back to the club after his loan spell away at Dortmund, the London born attacker hasn’t featured in either opening English Premier League squads.

Erik ten Hag seems to prefer his other options and that means Sancho will likely need to look away.

There have been a number of clubs linked with the England man.

Bayern Munich were reported to be interested in bringing him back to Germany.

But the most concrete noises have been from Chelsea and Juventus.

Last night, however, Juventus pulled out of the deal to sign Jadon Sancho.

That has left Chelsea as the last team standing.

And it seems that Manchester United have reacted accordingly.

The Athletic are reporting that United have dropped their asking price for Jadon Sancho.

It is believed that they’re now asking for just £25m for the attacker.

If United were to sell Sancho for that price, it would be a significant drop from the price they paid for him.

Brought back to Manchester in 2021 from Dortmund for £73m, that would represent a near £50m drop in just 3 years.

Still just 24, Jadon Sancho should have the best years ahead of him and a £25m price seems a bargain.

It remains to be seen which club will seize the opportunity and sign the United man on deadline day.
