When Tyler Fredricson was told he’d become the 254th player to graduate from Manchester United’s academy into the first team, the news quickly became appointment viewing for his friends and family.

The 20-year-old centre back was handed his debut against Wolves on Sunday.

It was certainly a display to remember from Fredricson.

He won the most duels (12) in the match.

It was a calm and composed display, even more impressing considering United’s struggles on-the-pitch.

Ruben Amorim will be hoping the Englishman can maintain the levels he showed against Wolves.

Tate, who plays for Higher Poynton in Stockport’s Sunday League second division, had his own match that morning.

A clash against Edgeley Villa Hatters, which kicked off at 10:45am in Poynton.

As per Daily Mail’s report, Tate agreed to play the first half of the game before making a mad dash across to Old Trafford.

They won 3-1 after the opposition saw three players sent off in a fiery second half.
