Ruben Amorim has now confirmed his 29-man Manchester United squad to face Leeds in their opening pre-season friendly on Saturday afternoon, as per the clubs official website.

The squad jetted off to Sweden this afternoon for the highly anticipated showdown.

Two new signings, Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon, have both been included in the squad travelling to the Strawberry Arena.

Cunha has been handed the iconic no.10 shirt, while Leon will wear the no.30 shirt.

The game could provide supporters with their first look at the newly signed pair in United colours, as Amorim continues to integrate fresh talent into his setup.

Meanwhile, other familiar names in the squad will be donning new numbers for the 2025/26 campaign.

Diogo Dalot has been allocated the no.2 shirt, while young prospects Chido Obi and Tyler Fredricson will wear 32 and 33 respectively.

Notably, goalkeeper Andre Onana and forward Joshua Zirkzee have remained at Carrington.

Both are dealing with minor fitness concerns but are expected to join the group ahead of the club’s pre-season tour of the United States next week.

United will also debut their brand-new adidas away strip against Daniel Farke’s Leeds side – a kit that fans are eager to see in action.

Following the Stockholm clash, Amorim’s men will continue their summer preparations with fixtures lined up against West Ham United, Bournemouth, Everton, and Fiorentina before the Premier League kicks off in mid-August.

Momentum begins now — and for Amorim, it’s an early chance to lay down a marker.
