Over the last year and a half, the staffing landscape at Manchester United has changed considerably under the INEOS regime.
Since taking charge, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has recruited a new board of directors including new chief executive officer Omar Berrada, sporting director Dan Ashworth, and technical director Jason Wilcox, before only a few months later, sacking Ashworth to make Wilcox the director of football.
Christian Vivell has come in a head of recruitment, leading the scouting team, whilst other senior members of staff have all left the club.
INEOS have led a major cull through the staff at Old Trafford, making 450 redundancies, however are now starting to show signs of recruitment.
On LinkedIn, Manchester United’s Head of Talent, Chelsea Beck-Daniel has advertised four new posts being recruited to at Old Trafford.
In her post, Beck-Daniel commented: “We’re excited to share some fantastic opportunities within our Women’s team here at Manchester United:
“Women’s Team Operations Lead
“Football Transactions Manager (Women’s and Academy)
“Assistant Performance Analyst (Women’s Team)
“Head of Women’s Physiotherapy (Maternity Cover)
“If you’re passionate about working in elite women’s football, we’d love to hear from you! As always, feel free to share with anyone who might be interested.”
As such, there appears to be a real push around the women’s team, with the United Women preparing themselves for the start of the 2025/26 Women’s Super League.
