Manchester United are preparing for another demanding campaign, as pre-season momentum builds within both senior and youth setups.
With Ruben Amorim’s tactical regime firmly underway, the club is laying groundwork for what promises to be a season of bold ambitions and necessary evolution.
Old Trafford will see several changes in the coming weeks, from potential transfer activity to behind-the-scenes improvements aimed at sustaining success across the board.
While Erik ten Hag’s previous term saw flashes of progress, Amorim now has the chance to stamp his authority from the very first whistle in all departments.
Meanwhile, fans can also look forward to more matchdays at the Theatre of Dreams — including a growing focus on expanding United’s presence in domestic and European competitions.
On that note, Manchester United Women’s official fixture list for the 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League has now been officially confirmed via the clubs website, kicking off a vital year for Marc Skinner’s side.
This follows the release of the men’s team fixtures, which were unveiled last month.
Following the women ‘s team third-place finish last season, which secured Champions League qualification, United begin their continental journey against PSV Eindhoven at the end of August in Sweden.
Their domestic campaign starts a week later, with a home fixture against Leicester City Women at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday 7 September, kicking off at 12:00 BST.
The following weekend, United hit the road to take on newly promoted London City Lionesses on Sunday 14 September, marking their first away challenge of the new season.
Tough early tests await in quick succession, with matchups against Arsenal (home), Liverpool (away) and reigning champions Chelsea (home) scheduled shortly after.
Key fixtures include two Manchester derby clashes, with the away leg pencilled in for Sunday 16 November and the reverse at Old Trafford on 29 March.
Aston Villa are also set to visit Old Trafford on 8 November — one of two confirmed league matches at the iconic venue.
It’s worth noting that, beyond the opening weekend, all fixtures are subject to change depending on broadcast selections.
As in previous years, United will finish their WSL season against Chelsea, who continue their bid for a seventh consecutive league title.
The Adobe Women’s FA Cup final and UEFA Women’s Champions League final will round off what could be a landmark campaign for United Women.
