Khabib Nurmagomedov is a legend of the UFC being undefeated in the Lightweight Division of the sport, going 30 wins without a loss.
Among these impressive victories comes a historic win over Conor McGregor in October 2018 with Khabib winning by submission in the fourth round.
The Eagle boasts an impressive eight win by knockout and 11 wins by submission, as he now looks to coach Patrice Evra for the sport.
Evra announced his surprising new sporting venture on X, saying: “BREAKING: I’m officially training for my first fight with @PFLEurope. They will pick my opponent… They asked who I wanna face. I said: Luis Suarez. I’ll pay out of pocket. He can even bite me.”
Despite it still being unannounced who he’ll be taking on on 23rd May 2025, Evra is taking his training incredibly seriously.

Patrice Evra seeks support from Khabib Nurmagomedov
The former left-back was visited by Paul Pogba at the start of the week and has now been contacted by Khabib Nurmagomedov.
In a video posted to social media, the former UFC champion commented: “Brother, you don’t need this! Why do you have to train? If you need to fight, I’m going to fight for you!”
Matching Khabib’s lighthearted tone, Evra responded: “Thank you for having my back brother! But I need to train, bro. I need to take it seriously.
“You know how much respect I have for you and for the sport. So that’s why I really need to have a training session with you.”
Instantly the UFC legend threw his support on the table, saying: “Brother I told you many times, send me location! I’m going to find you. Send me location. Tell me, where are you?”
He went on to say: “When I see you, you have to be ready. I’m going to teach you how to smash people.”
Whoever the Professional Fighters League line up to fight Evra next month will no doubt be a little concerned for the connections and training the former Manchester United man is now receiving.
