The race for Jadon Sancho is getting more intense as the days pass closer to Deadline Day, with Juventus and Chelsea battling it out for the Manchester United winger.
Chelsea and United are currently looking at two separate deals which would see Sancho trade places with Raheem Sterling, a move that sporting director Dan Ashworth is very keen on.
Former Premier League striker Troy Deeney has also praised the move, saying: “He’s better than anything they’ve got there, so yeah.”
Whilst Deeney commented that Marcus Rashford is under performing and Antony is “nothing”, there was no mention at all of Sancho.

However, Juve aren’t giving up on signing the England international that they’ve been following since January.
Reports from Italian publication, Gazzetta, have claimed that The Old Lady will attempt to sell Frederico Chiesa in the last three days of the transfer window to have a last minute shot at Sancho.
This implies that Sancho is most likely going to be a deadline day deal for Juve, with the Serie A side still looking for a loan deal without an obligation to buy.
This may be a sticking point for Juventus’ approach, with the Red Devils wanting either a permanent deal or a loan with obligation to buy, to ultimately offload the winger.
However, the deal for Sancho entirely hinges on the sale of Frederico Chiesa.
Chiesa was not seen at training yesterday, with the winger being linked with Manchester United rivals, Liverpool, suggesting a farewell from the club is getting closer.
Juve are hoping for €15 million for the Italian international, with Chiesa wanting a wage increase from the €5 million a year he earns currently.
