Manchester United and Ipswich Town are set to face off at Old Trafford tonight as United aim for a fight up the table as Ipswich aim to claw their way out of the relegation zone.

As such the match proves to be a key game for both sides, however, both managers have some key injuries they have to work around.

Ruben Amorim is set to go for the rest of the season without Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo who have both been thriving under him, with Kobbie Mainoo set to return at the end of March.

However, Kieran McKenna is already without one of his January signings after picking up an injury from Ipswich’s 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.

Julio Enciso has arrived on loan from Brighton, grabbing an assist in his first game as Ipswich lost 4-1 to Premier League leaders, Liverpool.

Since then he’s made two further appearances against Southampton and Villa, ultimately being taken off in the first half at Villa Park.

Speaking about the injury, McKenna commented: “He’s had some scans. Thankfully there was no new significant damage.”

He continued: “It’s mostly going to need a period to settle down. Quite how long that is we’re not exactly sure. Hopefully, we’ll get him back as soon as possible.”

As such, the attacking midfielder is set to miss the clash with United, as well as Ipswich’s fifth-round FA Cup clash with Nottingham Forest on Monday 3rd March.
