Now that the Manchester United squad are back for pre-season training, The Red Devils are keen to get as much game experience as possible to aide development and prepare for next season.
As such, Ruben Amorim are headed to the States for the Premier League Summer Series, seeing them face off against West Ham United, Bournemouth and Everton.
Prior to that United will be taking on newly promoted side Leeds United on 19th July 2025, and finishing off their pre-season hosting Fiorentina at Old Trafford on 9th August 2025.

However, the senior squad aren’t the only ones to be heading off on tour, as the club have officially announced their academy’s trip to Hong Kong.
Taking to their official website, Manchester United have announced: “Manchester United and its long-standing partner, The Hong Kong Jockey Club, have announced they are to host the fifth JC Youth Football Academy Summit in Hong Kong this summer.”
The statement continues: “During the summit, the Manchester United Academy U16 squad will be in Hong Kong to participate in a week-long cultural and football exchange programme with young local players from 11 to 18 August, including two friendly matches.”
It’s understood the summit will consists of two games, one against Premier Youth League Select Team and then a second against the Hong Kong, China U16 Representative Team.

Speaking about the opportunity for the United youngsters, United’s Director of Academy, Nick Cox, said: “The Academy Summit in Hong Kong continues to be one of our most exciting and valuable international experiences each year.”
He continued: “It remains a standout opportunity for both our players and staff to grow through a diverse mix of competitive fixtures, high-quality training, fan interaction, and cultural exploration.
“These experiences are instrumental in shaping well-rounded individuals, both on and off the pitch.We are once again extremely thankful to The Hong Kong Jockey Club for their continued support in making this exceptional initiative possible.”
