He will be present at the grand finale of the fourth edition of Apollo Tyres’ flagship grassroots football programme, United We Play, set to take place in Chandigarh on October 18, 2024.
A rare one-club man, Gary Neville devoted his entire professional career to Manchester United, amassing an impressive 602 appearances over nearly two decades.
Under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson, he became a cornerstone of the team’s defense.
Neville also made significant contributions to the England national team, earning 85 caps over a 12-year international career.
United We Play is an on-ground grassroots football initiative supported by Manchester United.
The programme aims to encourage young football talent from various regions by providing a platform to showcase their skills.

Its objective is to motivate aspiring footballers to continue playing while introducing them to global training methodologies.

The fourth edition of United We Play was launched in Kolkata in December last year, with former Manchester United and French footballer Louis Saha kicking off the programme.
This edition is the largest to date, featuring a season-long schedule that reached 18 cities across India and engaged over 15,000 young footballers nationwide.
More than 100 coaches participated through virtual Manchester United Soccer Schools training sessions, ensuring that modern training methods were accessible to every footballer involved in the initiative.
The programme also expanded to additional cities in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, including Kathmandu, Bangkok, Dhaka, and Dubai.
Gary Neville’s visit is highly anticipated and is expected to provide a significant boost to grassroots football in India.
His involvement will likely inspire the next generation of football talent, offering them invaluable insights drawn from his extensive experience at the highest levels of the sport.
