Manchester United’s summer rebuild is already underway under Ruben Amorim, but the real work is just beginning at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have confirmed the £62.5million signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves, bringing fresh energy to a forward line that desperately lacked inspiration last season.
Meanwhile, Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo has declared his desire to join Amorim’s revolution, and United are actively pursuing a deal for the versatile attacker.

However, United’s failure to qualify for any European competition after losing the Europa League final to Tottenham means finances are tighter than ever, and major outgoings are now essential to balance the books.
The absence of Champions League revenue – an estimated £100million blow – has left United with little choice but to cash in on several big names.
Gary Neville, speaking on the It’s Called Soccer podcast, has named four first-team players who must be sold immediately to help Manchester United move forward: Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho.
Neville didn’t hold back in explaining why these players no longer fit into the club’s plans under Amorim.
Rashford, he believes, has reached the end of the road at Old Trafford.
Despite Aston Villa’s loan interest last season, Neville suggested that if a permanent deal was in the works, it would have been finalised by now.

Barcelona remain keen on the England international, with club director Deco openly expressing his admiration. United reportedly want £40million for the 27-year-old, and Rashford himself is said to favour a move to LaLiga.
Sancho, who had a strong loan spell at Chelsea, is another Neville believes needs a permanent exit.
Despite helping Chelsea win the Conference League and seal a top-four finish, the Blues are not pursuing a deal, leaving the door open for United to find another buyer.
Antony, meanwhile, is tipped for a permanent switch to LaLiga side Sevilla after a productive loan spell in Spain. Neville believes it’s the perfect league for him to rebuild his career.
Garnacho, surprisingly, is also on the list after clashing with Amorim post-Tottenham defeat.
Gary Neville says United must now back their manager, even if it means letting go of a talented youngster.
However, Kobbie Mainoo is one player Neville insists must stay.
Despite reports linking him with a move, the former captain says selling the midfielder would be “a step too far” and urged United to build around him.
