When Sir Jim Ratcliffe took charge of Manchester United just over a year ago, the INEOS owner set out some clear objectives for his time at the club.
Firstly, to make the club financially sustainable and secondly to turn the club into the centre of development for he world’s best footballing prospects.
Whilst Ratcliffe has been fighting to achieve the first aim by any means, causing a lot of controversy about his ownership, the second aim actually appears to be going well.
In the last 12 months, United have signed Leny Yoro, Chido Obi, James Overy, Sekou Kone, Samuel Lusale, Diego Leon and Enzo Kana-Biyik, all of whom are considered to be extremely exciting teenagers.
Now, SullyTalks has revealed that new signing Enzo Kana-Biyik has been called up to join the France Under-18s national side for the UEFA Friendship Cup.
Kana-Biyik has recently moved to Old Trafford from Le Havre’s academy with this marking his first international call up.
This season, the young striker has grabbed nine goals and an assist in 16 games across all competitions for the youth side, even stepping up to sit on the bench with the senior squad in two games.
Kana-Biyik is the latest addition to the already impressive Manchester United academy with its ranks already building excitement for the next class of Red Devils.
