The 2025-26 Premier League season kicked off in August with its twenty sides looking to succeed in the English top flight this season but is currently on break to allow for the international break, governed by FIFA.
So far this season, United have picked up four points including a victory against newly promoted side Burnley and a point against Fulham.
Their performances so far this season have seen the Red Devils top many Premier League statistics.
The first of these has seen United register the highest expected goals (xG) in the Premier League so far with a total of 6.78.
Furthermore, Ruben Amorim’s side have also managed 99 touches in the opposition penalty area which ranks as the most of the twenty sides.

On an individual basis, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has ranked as the best in the top flight with the attacking midfielder creating 12 chances.
The figure also puts Fernandes level with Kylian Mbappe who has created 12 chances as well.
Now, with the international break upon us, football’s governing body FIFA have confirmed a change to the Premier League schedule.
According to FIFA, there will be only three international windows per season following next year’s World Cup.
The governing body have also confirmed its plans to merge the September and October windows into one extended break, giving priority to international football over club commitments during that time.
Therefore, this will be the final time players link up together at the start of September.
A new, longer 16-day international day will take place from September 21 to October 6 next year.
Through having a longer international break, each nation will be able to play up to four matches.
Now, attention will turn towards the implementation of this change.
