Ruben Amorim is starting the summer makeover of Manchester United with the goal of enhancing a club that had a difficult season.
After the team’s dismal performance in the Premier League and Europa League final, the Portuguese head coach is eager to trim the deadwood and raise money through player sales.
United has already purchased Matheus Cunha and is close to acquiring Bryan Mbeumo, but further departures are necessary to meet Financial Fair Play regulations and make room for additional arrivals.
United is concentrating on improving its inconsistent forward line, particularly one player who hasn’t produced in front of goal, even though bolstering the midfield and defence remains the top objective.
Rasmus Hojlund may be the next player to depart Old Trafford as Manchester United is now open to letting him go this summer, but only at the right price.
As the Red Devils approach July 1st, it is also when the new financial year for clubs begin.
This will for sure mean an increase in transfer activity.
And now it has been revealed by Fabrizio Romano that a new signing is set to fly to Manchester soon.

As per Fabrizio Romano via X, Diego Leon set to travel to England next week as he’s starting his new chapter as Manchester United player.
The deal, reportedly worth £7 million in total, includes a five-year contract with an optional 12-month extension.
It is internally seen as a major step toward correcting past transfer mistakes.
Leon joins a growing list of prospects United have tied down early, including Leny Yoro, Chido Obi Martin, Sekou Kone, and Samuel Lusale.
The long-term strategy is clear: Leon is seen as a project player who has the ability to contribute significantly to the first team, even though the door is still open for more left wing-back reinforcement this summer.
Something that the fans have been demanding for a long time.
