With just four points from four games, Manchester United is off to its worst Premier League start in thirty-three years following a heartbreaking 3-0 loss to Manchester City on Derby Day.

In addition to their terrible Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Grimsby Town—the first time a fourth-tier team has eliminated them from a tournament—Manchester United is obviously in a very bad spot.

This season was meant to be one of revival and hope but has turned out to be another filled with disappointment.

The 3-4-3 system that changed Sporting CP and helped them win five titles in four and a half years has been steadfastly upheld by Ruben Amorim.

Nearly a year after his appointment in November 2024, United is still having trouble adapting to his approach; therefore, the system isn’t working as well at Old Trafford.

We can now reveal some information on the Portuguese manager.

CentreDevils can exclusively reveal that figures within the club believe Ruben Amorim’s refusal to change and his stubbornness will get him sacked soon.

One source says he’s had “one foot out the door” this season.

Ruben Amorim has made it clear internally today he will not change his system.

Some others believe that the squad is much better than the league position they are in and it is a good squad foundation for the new manager.

Amorim has also threatened to walk away in the past.

INEOS are remaining on the stance that Amorim has their full backing.

However, it will be interesting if this stance changes if the shocking run of form and poor performances continue.

The Red Devils face a huge game in Chelsea this weekend.

A win is crucial to get three points, which have been so hard to get so far this season.
