Manchester United are preparing to have Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo in their ranks as a deal has finally agreed.
After months of speculation, contact and negotiation, the move has finally happened, with the Cameroon international already in Manchester.
After CentreDevils exclusively broke the Red Devil’s interest in the forward, it took over two months of difficult and drawn-out negotiations to come to an agreement.
Despite having two bids rejected, Ruben Amorim’s team decided to pay £71 million, of which £6 million was in add-ons.

The 25-year-old Cameroon international has been under personal terms for some time; he consented to a five-year deal that would expire in 2030 with the option of an extension for an extra year.
The Cameroon attacker was not signed in time to play in yesterday’s 0-0 draw between the Red Devils and Leeds United in Stockholm, which was the team’s first preseason match.
United is now concentrating on acquiring a striker to play in front of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, with players like Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig and Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa at the top of the wishlist. Unfortunately, though, the team must now sell before they can acquire any new players.
