The start of a new season means the newest edition of EAFC is on its way with EAFC 25.
After rebranding from FIFA last year, the newly named football franchise is set to hit shelves on 27th September 2024.
So, with its upcoming release, we’re already getting treated to some of the player ratings for this season’s Manchester United squad.
The ratings range from 87 down to 61, with club captain Bruno Fernandes at the top by a whole three points, all the way down to youngster Dan Gore down at the bottom. Interestingly the most common rating given for this year’s United team is 78 as opposed to last year’s 80. However, we still don’t have the full squad revealed as of yet.

But, lets dive in to what we know.
Bruno Fernandes (87) – Only a slight drop from his 88 of last year. Whilst his dribbling has remained the same at 83, his passing and shooting have dropped slightly from 86 and 90 to 85 and 88, however are still impressive stats and show why he can be used as a back up striker.
Lisandro Martinez (84) – Martinez’s overall is unchanged from last year as are all of his stats, except for pace and physicality which have dropped slightly from 73 and 83 to 71 and 81.
Matthijs de Ligt (84) – New boy de Ligt has seen a slight drop from 86 to 84, with only his shooting stat unchanged at 61, all of the others have reduced by at least one point, the biggest drop being his pace from 66 to 62.
Casemiro (84) – Last year Casemiro was the highest rated United player at 89, however has now had the biggest drop of all the United team by five points to 84. The biggest shift is his pace from 63 to 38, with his defending and physicality stats dropping from 89 and 88 to 82 for both of them.
Andre Onana (83) – A slight drop from 85 to 83, with again, some significant drop in stats. His positioning has dropped from 84 to 79 and his handling from 80 to 75.
Luke Shaw (82) – Shaw has only experienced a drop of one point from 83 with the vast amount of his stats unchanged, presumably with the long term injury not allowing him to show any changes that may have occurred.
Jadon Sancho (82) – Despite his overall rating being unchanged, Sancho is the first in our list to see his stats improve. The winger has seen his pace, dribbling and physicality increase from 78, 87 and 47 to 79, 89 and 50.
Diogo Dalot (82) – Dalot is our first to see his rating go up, from last year’s 80 to 82. Dalot’s physicality is the only rating to remain the same at 79, with all others improving.
Marcus Rashford (81) – Rashford is another player to experience a bit of a drop from 85 to 81. Whilst he’s experienced a decrease in all of his stats, the biggest comes with his physicality dropping by 10 points from 74 to 64.
Noussair Mazraoui (81) – Another United new signing, also experiencing a slight drop from 82 t0 81. Although most of his stats have remained the same, his pace and physicality have dropped from 79 and 74 to 78 and 71.
Harry Maguire (80) – Maguire has actually seen a rise from 79 to 80, despite his pace falling from 46 to 37. His passing and defence however have increased from 67 and 78 to 70 and 80.
Joshua Zirkzee (79) – United’s new striker has seen a massive increase from 73 to 79, going from a silver card to a gold. Not a single stat has remained consistent for Zirkzee, with incredible increases in pace, passing dribbling and defence from 68, 63 75 and 20, to 73, 72, 83 and 37.
Alejandro Garnacho (79) – Another big jump however Garnacho was a borderline gold last year at 75. Garnacho’s biggest increases come with his shooting and passing which have risen from 69 and 65, to 75 and 72.
Leny Yoro (78) – United’s final new signing, Yoro, is another to have risen from silver to gold, coming from 71 to 78. Yoro’s pace has incredibly gone from 58 to 73, with his defending and physicality rising from 72 and 66, to 79 and 73.
Rasmus Hojlund (78) – Hojlund has had a small rise from 76 to 78, most notably with his passing and physicality rising from 55 and 78, to 59 and 84.
Mason Mount (78) – Mount has seen a drop of three points from 81 to 78 with most of his stats dropping by two points. However, interestingly his defending has risen from 56 to 61.
Victor Lindelof (78) – Similarly to Mount, Lindelof has dropped to 78 but this time from 80. Most of his stats have remained the same, however his pace has dropped dramatically from 59 to 52.
Christian Eriksen (78) – A drop from 83 to 78, mirroring Casemiro’s decrease in rating by five points. The main stats to take the hit are in his pace and dribbling, going from 59 and 81, to 50 and 76.
Kobbie Mainoo (77) – This is easily the biggest rise, by and amazing 15 points from 62 to 77, that’s a jump from bronze to gold in one year. Mainoo’s pace is the only stat to remain the same, with the others getting much more comparable, with his shooting from 55 to 66, his passing from 57 to 74, his dribbling from 66 to 81, defending from 58 to 73 and finally his physicality from 67 to 72.
Antony (77) – Antony has dropped from 81 to 77, with all of his stats decreasing, most notably his shooting and dribbling from 76 and 87, to 70 and 82.
Altay Bayindir (76) – Bayindir has remained completely unchanged with his ratings, staying consistent at 76.
Tyrell Malacia (76) – A slight drop for Malacia from 78. The biggest differences for Malacia are his pace and physicality, dropping from 83 and 77, to 78 and 73.
Amad Diallo (75) – Diallo is another to jump from silver to gold, with his previous rating being 74. Diallo’s stats remain fairly unchanged, rising by one point, however he retains his impressive pace of 85.
Jonny Evans (74) – Evans as dropped slightly from 75 to 74, demoting him to a silver card this year. Most of his stats are fairly unchanged, however his pace has dragged him down, going from 37 to 33.
Dan Gore (61) – Gore’s overall rating remains unchanged, with all of his stats matching those of last year’s game. His stand out stat is easily his pace at 72.
The key takeaway here really is that United don’t have a single striker rated over 80, simulating concerns raised by Roy Keane of not having a prolific goal scorer up top.
