Last month, the 2025/26 Premier League got underway, which as ever means that the new edition of EA Sports FC is just around the corner.
This year’s edition, EA Sports FC 26 is due to be released on 26th September 2025, only three weeks away, meaning the long wait is over.
Already the cover star has been revealed as former Manchester United, AC Milan and Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Announcing his debut on the cover, Ibrahimovic took to X, commenting: “FC without Zlatan is not complete. I’m back.”
Now, he is most certainly back, with EA Sports FC announcing a new club in the game, which is entirely Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The prolific striker is set to be every player in the squad, including the goalkeeper, and the club’s manager.
In a release video on X, EA Sports FC shows the camera panning down in-game footage of the team line-up before seeing Ibrahimovic in goal making a save, putting in slide tackles and assisting himself before seeing the group of Zlatans celebrating the goal, as well as the striker in manager mode shouting instructions from the side-line.
Whilst it’s not known how many modes Zlatan FC will be available in, the inclusion of the side in the really does echo Ibrahimovic’s words that he is back.
