Manchester United have received a boost with injury news ahead of their game against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

All four potential injuries scares from the 3-0 win over Southampton last week have been cleared.

Both Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund are back in training with the team but are not yet available for the game.

However, Palace have not been afforded the same luxury and have some injury issues of their own.

Crystal Palace Injuries

Four players are confirmed to be absent for Palace on Saturday.

Three Palace defenders will miss the game, which is good news for United, who have struggled in front of goal this season.

Centre-back Chadi Riad is out with an ACL injury for eight to 12 weeks and will be unavailable.

Matheus Franca has an abdominal issue and is still not training with the team yet.

The attacking midfielder will be out for several weeks.

Trevor Chalobah is a doubt after also suffering an abdominal muscle injury.

Manager Oliver Glasner has explained that Rob Holding has been exiled from Palace’s squad.

“Rob is training individually at the moment. We will talk together – he knows the reason”, he said.

Manchester United Injuries

For United, many players’ returns from injury are imminent.

With Hojlund and Mount returning to training, fans should expect them to be phased into the team over the next few games.

The same can be said for Victor Lindelof, who is expected to be back next week.

Leny Yoro is expected to be back in action for United by November.

Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw’s return dates are still unknown, as they battle long-term injuries.

However, Erik ten Hag has expressed optimisism towards their recovery progress.

Manchester United are seeking back-to-back Premier League away wins for the first time since February.
