Earlier this week it was announced that Italian side Como were joining the race to sign Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
It was reported that despite his hefty salary the club had no financial issues with signing the star.
With interest from Europe’s elite, such as Juventus, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, Rashford and his team announced they had no interest in entertaining Como.
It’s known that Rashford is looking to join one of Europe’s top clubs to be playing in the Champions League or Europa League to try and win back his slot in the England national team.
In the wake of their rejection by Rashford however, Como are now looking to another United star.

Como set sights on Tyrell Malacia
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the Serie A side are now looking to sign United’s forgotten left-back Tyrell Malacia.
The Dutch international was out of action through injury for over a year, however since his return, Ruben Amorim has been reluctant to use him.
With the club looking to recruit to the left-wing-back role as a priority this month, it appears as though Malacia’s future at the club is questionable.
As a lifeline to kick-start his career, Pedulla has reported that Como are looking to bring Malacia to Italy.
The club are currently battling to avoid relegation, sitting in 16th only a point clear of the relegation zone, although do have a game in hand.
