In modern football, free agents are hard to come by, and staying in shape while assessing your choices may frequently mean the difference between making a significant move and retiring from the game.
Clubs throughout Europe are always on the lookout for talented midfielders, and late-season openings may present themselves when injuries or bad play make squads need replacements.
Maintaining a high level of skill on the training field is essential for a player with a proven track record, particularly when the transfer window has already ended and there are few other possibilities.
Eriksen signed for Manchester United as a free agent on a three-year contract in July 2022, following a successful return to football with Brentford after his cardiac arrest.
During his time at Old Trafford, Eriksen won the FA Cup and the League Cup.
Due to his training at Malmo, Eriksen has now been criticised.

As reported by WalesOnline, ex-Denmark international and former Real Madrid midfielder Thomas Gravesen questioned Eriksen’s ambitions.
The former United player has not yet found a new squad, even though he has been free to engage with possible clubs since the beginning of the season.
Despite scoring in June friendlies against Northern Ireland and Lithuania, Eriksen was left out of Denmark’s World Cup qualifying matches against Scotland and Greece.
He also reportedly turned down an opportunity to join Wrexham.
In a recent interview with Fotboll Skanalen, Gravesen expressed his disbelief: “It is incomprehensible to me that he chooses Malmo,” he said.
“It is not a club that he can go to because he cannot sign a contract with them and we have some clubs in Denmark that are much, much better than Malmo.”
“This looks like a friendly thing, where Christian Eriksen is over and having fun with some friends. Where is the ambition to play football?
“We talk about him being without a club for three months, but he has been without a club since January because he has been able to sign a contract with a new club ever since.”
“He has been dragging his feet on it for a long time.”
“If he wants to play for the national team, what signal does this send?”
“What signal does going up and having fun with friends in Malmo send?”
