Manchester United are currently on their pre-season tour of the USA as they prepare for a crucial season under new manager Ruben Amorim.
They recently played their first match in the Premier League Summer Series against West Ham United, securing a 2-1 victory thanks to a brace from captain Bruno Fernandes.
The team looked much improved, playing with greater intensity and energy, with several players appearing noticeably fitter compared to last season.
While Amorim will have seen plenty of areas that still need work, he will be quietly satisfied with his side’s encouraging first Summer Series performance.
During their time in the United States, the squad have also enjoyed various activities in their free time away from football, making the most of the trip both on and off the pitch.

As reported by the official Chicago White Sox page on X, Bruno Fernandes was in attendance at their recent game against the Chicago Cubs.
The White Sox shared a photo of the Manchester United captain with the caption, “We do talk about Bruno”.
Fernandes took part in the experience by swapping shirts with a few White Sox players and even throwing a practice pitch at the stadium.
Although the Cubs went on to win the game 6-1, it was great to see United players enjoying themselves on the tour.
Bruno will now turn his attention to United’s next Summer Series fixture against Bournemouth, hoping to build on his standout performance in the 2-1 win over West Ham, where he scored both goals.
After rejecting a move to Saudi Arabia earlier in the summer, Fernandes looks fully focused on the season ahead.
As both captain and the team’s best player, United’s hopes of bouncing back from a disappointing campaign rest heavily on his leadership and consistent performances throughout the season.
