Manchester United’s ambitions off the pitch are gathering pace as the club prepares for a fresh Premier League campaign.
The Reds recently concluded a productive pre-season tour in the United States, which left the squad buzzing with confidence.
This renewed energy is matched by the club’s broader vision to build a high-performance culture that extends beyond just the players.
As rivals continue to invest heavily in infrastructure and training facilities, United’s latest move signals a serious commitment to regaining their place at the summit of English football.
This week marked a landmark moment for Manchester United as they officially unveiled the completion of the £50 million redevelopment of the men’s first-team building at Carrington Training Complex, via the clubs website.
A model of Carrington was released earlier this year as well.
The project, designed by acclaimed architect Lord Norman Foster and led by Foster + Partners, has transformed the club’s training base into a state-of-the-art facility aimed at driving performance, recovery, and innovation.

Part of a larger £300 million capital injection from co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe last year, the redevelopment was completed on schedule and within budget, arriving just ahead of the 2025/26 season kick-off.
Players and staff have had direct input into the design, which prioritises natural light, open spaces, and seamless connectivity to foster collaboration and unity.
With upgraded fitness, nutrition, and recovery technology, the building is a physical manifestation of the club’s ambition to return to winning ways.
Ruben Amorim’s squad, fresh from their successful US tour, have already moved in after spending a year in temporary facilities during the renovation.
Club executives have also relocated from Old Trafford to Carrington, signalling a shift in the club’s operational heartbeat towards the training complex, with football at its core.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe expressed pride in the new environment, describing it as “world-class” and key to building a winning culture.
CEO Omar Berrada highlighted the project as a crucial step in unifying the club’s vision, culture, and performance.
With these upgrades now in place, Manchester United are setting the stage for a resurgence both on and off the pitch.
