Leny Yoro hasn’t had a great start to his Manchester United career, already being ruled out through injury.

The new signing arrived from LOSC Lille for £52 million as the second senior signing of United’s summer transfers.

In their first pre-season tour game in the States, the Red Devils had to substitute the 18-year-old after he sustained a foot injury against Arsenal. Since then, the French defender has undergone surgery and is ruled out until late October.

Now, the “generational talent” has received an influx of messages of support from his new teammates.

Yoro recently took to his Instagram letting the Red Devils supporters know he’ll be returning “stronger”.

The defender’s post read: “This is not the start I wanted, but that’s football. The operation went well. Thank you for your many messages of support. Now, time for patience and rehabilitation work. See you soon, stronger.”

In no time at all, Yoro’s new captain had commented his support.

Bruno Fernandes posted commenting: “We’ll be waiting and supporting you”, with Rasmus Hojlund also commenting: “Back stronger my bro.”

Fellow United stars Mason Mount, Ethan Wheatley and Hannibal Mejbri also showed their support for the injured star.
