With the 2025/26 Premier League season fast approaching, fans are keeping a close eye on how squads are shaping up.
As the transfer market heats up, clubs are working hard to finalise their teams ahead of the new campaign.
Additionally, with the return of the new season comes another year of Fantasy Premier League.

Players will now be rewarded with points for defensive contributions, not just goals, assists, and clean sheets.
Under the new rules, any defender who completes a total of 10 clearances, blocks, interceptions, or tackles in a match will earn two additional points.
For midfielders and attackers, the threshold is slightly higher, with 12 required, including ball recoveries.
These changes have influenced player pricing for the 2025/26 FPL season, making those who contribute both defensively and offensively even more valuable.
One player likely to benefit from the new scoring system is Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.
While Fernandes has been operating in a deeper role more frequently, he continues to provide attacking returns.
In addition, his defensive numbers are consistently strong, he regularly racks up tackles and ball recoveries, making him a strong candidate to earn the new two-point bonus on a regular basis.

As a result of the rule change, Bruno Fernandes has seen a price increase in Fantasy Premier League.
According to the official FPL, via X, Fernandes will now cost managers £9 million.
This new price tag makes him the sixth most expensive player in the game, behind only Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, Alexander Isak, Erling Haaland, and Mohamed Salah.
However, Manchester United fans will be hoping Fernandes justifies the cost increase.
Looking for a strong season under new manager Ruben Amorim, as the club looks to bounce back from a disappointing 15th-place finish last campaign.
