Manchester United have now officially unveiled Benjamin Sesko as their newest signing, ending the transfer saga to find a new striker.
The Slovenia international arrives from RB Leipzig as The Red Devils fend off fellow Premier League side, Newcastle United.
Both clubs presented their project to Sesko, however the striker opted for United and Ruben Amorim’s challenge of restoring the 20-time Premier League champions back to the top of world football.
Now, officially a United player, Sesko can get stuck into training, joining his new teammates in preparing for the 2025/26 Premier League season as one of the first few signings of Amorim’s revolution.
The former Leipzig striker joins Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo as new members of Amorim’s attack, with the pair retaining their shirt numbers from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brentford, respectively.
Cunha was handed the number 10 shirt, being taken from Marcus Rashford, and Mbeumo has taken on the number 19.
Now, AmorimBall on X has posted that Benjamin Sesko is set to be United’s newest number 30.
CentreDevils can confirm this is the case, and Sesko will continue to wear the number 30 shirt he wore at RB Leipzig.
Recent new signing Diego Leon had already been given this shirt number, however had no issue in giving it to Sesko, taking on number 35 instead.
