Jadon Sancho is one of many faces to depart Old Trafford this summer.
The Englishman, formerly of Bourissa Dortmund had been linked with many clubs as potential destinations.
One of these clubs was AS Roma who had agreed a fee for Jadon Sancho.
However, the Englishman would go onto reject the Italian outfit.
Following this rejection, the prospect of joining Aston Villa emerged as the transfer deadline approached.
Initially, the prospect of a swap move involving Sancho and Villa ‘keeper Emiliano Martinez emerged.
But, this was something that did not end up being explored.
Then, on deadline day, Fabrizio Romano gave a move for Jadon Sancho to move to Aston Villa his famous ‘here we go’ send off before CentreDevils exclusively revealed that the winger had completed his medical and paperwork for the deal to go through.
Finally, following a transfer saga spanning weeks, the Englishman officially completed his move to fellow Premier League side Aston Villa.
However, he did not feature in the side’s match against Everton today, a match that ended in a 0-0 draw.
Now, following the match, the plan Villa will undertake with the on-loan winger has been revealed.
Manager Unai Emery stated that he aims to “get him back to his best.”
The manager also revealed that Jadon Sancho is “still being hungry to show his capacity to play with his skills, his qualities, and hopefully we can exploit here, again, his best.”
With this now revealed, attention will arguably turn towards Aston Villa’s game against Brentford in the EFL Cup to see if Sancho makes his official debut.
If this does not occur, he could appear next week against Sunderland in the Premier League.
But, only time will tell, both in this prospect and in the prospect of Emery’s plan succeeding.
