Andre Onana, who arrived at Old Trafford in 2023 for a £47m deal, has had a rollercoaster of a tenure at United.

It has been flashes of top-tier quality mixed with costly mistakes.

Most recently against Lyon away from home in the Europa League, where he made two costly errors.

Onana was then dropped, ahead of the clash away at Newcastle.

While there have been rumours linking him with a move to Saudi Arabia, Ruben Amorim has shown continued faith in the Cameroon international.

Onana remains the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, for now.
