Manchester United have officially locked down their star man, Amad Diallo, with the winger signing a new contract.
The Ivorian international was in the final six months of his contract, set to end in the Summer, however, his stay at Old Trafford has been considerably extended.
Amad has well and truly come into his own under new manager Ruben Amorim, being a standout performer in recent months.
Since Amorim took charge at Old Trafford, Amad’s made 12 appearances with three goals and five assists, including a remarkably skilful winning goal against rivals Manchester City.
Throughout December it was reported that Amad was to be rewarded with a new contract, however, the day is now finally here.

Amad Diallo is rewarded with new contract
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the contract will Amad stay at Old Trafford until 2030, with no option for an extra year extension.
The report explains that all the details have been ironed out, with the youngster set to officially sign on Thursday 9th January 2025.
Whilst Amad was eligible to look elsewhere with the end of his contract looming, the 22-year-old only had eyes for United.
This fits with previous comments from Amad, saying: “[My footballing dream is] to win more trophies with the club. I want to win a lot of trophies. Champions League, Premier League, everything. I want to win with this club, that is my dream.”
Romano confirmed that two unknown top clubs contacted the star to discuss his availability, however neither was entertained.
