Many United players are dog lovers, including Alejandro Garnacho.
He regularly shares pictures of his two dogs, Freko and Burrows, on social media.
But fear struck recently when both dogs escaped.
Thankfully, they were found by a woman driving near Garnacho’s home.
Leah Smith, 26, spotted the dogs and quickly took action.
Recognising them from social media, she got them into her car.
She then drove to United’s Carrington training ground to return them.
Smith was warmly thanked by Garnacho and his partner Eva Garcia.
“Once they confirmed the dogs were his, they asked me to take them home,” she told The Sun.

“His partner, Eva, was waiting and was very grateful.”
Later, Smith received another thank-you from the couple.
They gifted her tickets for the players’ family area at Old Trafford.
She and her children attended United’s win over Southampton last month.
Alejandro Garnacho has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
But fans still admire him as a bright spark in Ruben Amorim’s side.
With Amad out injured, it’s time for Garnacho to step up.
Smith was grateful for the tickets and praised Garnacho and Eva.
